Pierfrancesco Valpreda is a distinguished professional dancer, educator, and entrepreneur whose career spans elite performance, academic excellence, and innovative business leadership. His dance training began at the Teatro Municipal de Santiago and the University of Chile before he was invited to the United States by Houston Ballet. Valpreda held professional contracts with leading U.S. ballet companies and performed as a soloist while guesting internationally.
Representing his heritage at Lincoln Center in 2005, he performed the pas de deux from La Fille Mal Gardée. Valpreda has collaborated with legendary directors, including Ivan Nagy, Ben Stevenson, Martin Friedman, and Hector Zaraspe (Juilliard), alongside renowned choreographers such as Michael Pink, Christopher Wheeldon, and Peter Anastos.
Currently, Valpreda owns and directs VWDance in Weymouth, MA—named among the Top 10 Best Dance Studios in Norfolk County, MA—and serves as Chief Executive Officer of LATAM Ballet Grand Prix, Chile’s most prestigious ballet festival and dance competition. He holds an Arthur Murray Dance Studio teaching certification and won the New England Regional Fred Astaire Award with student Dorothy Smith, RN. Valpreda also serves as Dean College Adjunct Faculty, and creator of a course for Bridgewater State University summer program “Transformer Concepts and Ideas Into Movement”, and Peace & Harmony AFC Marketing Director, with a Master’s in Sales Management and Marketing from European Business School of Barcelona (ENEB).
Pursuing a second Master’s in Education at Universidad Miguel de Cervantes his credentials include Harvard Medical School’s AI in Healthcare Executive Education, Saint Mary’s College Liberal Arts BA, certifications in neuroscience, kinesiology, and reflex integration, a Fund for Teachers Grant 2015 from the Center for the Arts in Education to attend Cuba’s National Ballet School under masters led by Alicia Alonso while working at a Boston Public Schools arts school, and biographical listing in Marquis Who’s Who 2024.
An advisor at the American Ballet Competition (2009) and co-founder of Salt Lake Ballet Conservatory, Valpreda blends world-class dance pedagogy with business acumen to empower students toward competition success and personal mastery.
